Nakamura Baikei
History
'An exceptional artist whose work is scarce' (p.242). An eccentric artist who puts a cartouche of miniature writing inside the foot rim of all his pieces, extolling the piece and the time taken (p.58); teapot pl.71 signed 'Nakamura Baikei zo' with attestation is among his most successful works (p.106).
