Hododa
History
Large Yokohama organisation known for large quantities of lower-grade Satsuma, but also high-quality pieces, particularly Kinran type; Hododa's first name was Takichi (p.234). Painters include Kyo Yoshinobu and Masanobu; a mark refers to production during the American occupation (p.235).

'Satsuma yaki, Hododa sei'; 'Hododa seizo'; kinran wares often bear spurious early dates.
